As a Proposal Specialist, you will be responsible for developing smart and persuasive proposals, RFPs, and pitches for prosepctive clients, acting as a go-to intermediary between the Sales team and subject matter experts across our organization.

Individuals joining the Proposal Shop will be talented writers, high performing task masters, and will have the ability to thrive under pressure.

Experience and Skills:


  • Draft, proof, and edit customer-facing proposal materials in MS Word, Excel, PPT and/or inDesign
  • Engage directly with salespeople, sales executives, and senior leadership to understand client business goals and help guide proposal team
  • Coordinate with discipline leaders across the organization to develop new content
  • Build and maintain a business asset library including proposal templates and documents, company credentials and capabilities, team bios and client feedback, case studies, and any other proposal content you can think of
  • Own and manage high-impact internal projects (e.g., development of product pricing tool, implementation of content management tool, etc.)

Soft Skills:

  • Articulate; able to communicate complex ideas quickly and clearly
  • Resourceful; able to problem-solve and move projects forward with little oversight
  • Motivated; able to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven, entrepreneurial environment

Hard Skills:

  • Experience with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
